It can be daunting and overwhelming to try to choose which tools to use and I am often asked what to use, what I’ve used, what I like and don’t like so what better way than to create a list of my faves to help you.

I’ve used many different ones and these are a mixture of things I’ve used previously and liked, used now and for different budgets and needs.

Website & Funnel Builder

Simple to use and really user friendly with live chat for support. This is a managed platform so someone else takes care of all the backups, hosting, security and means less stress for you if something goes wrong.

This is what I use myself and to build my client's websites on too as well as teaching thousands of people to use to set up their own websites and funnels. It's extremely affordable and with a whole library of features you'd need for your business.

Email Autoresponders

I’ve used many many autoresponders. There’s been no ONE that has been perfect and after moving for the 4th time, I decided enough was enough and stick with what I've got now which is Activecampaign.

Activecampaign - Has all the features you need and can integrate with any tool.

Mailerlite - Free up to 1000 subscribers. Great for simple businesses and beginners but has all the automation you’d also need.

Simvoly also now has a built in Email Autoresponder so great if you use the website & funnel builder to easily connect everything together.

Social Media Design & Scheduling

Again, I’ve used several schedulers to test out and I currently use Recurpost. It is really affordable and simple to use and does everything I need. I especially love schedulers that you can create evergreen content to cycle through when you need some space and grace from creating new content which is such a relief!

Recurpost - Great for evergreen content and publishing to multiple platforms in one go.

Tailwind - Best for Pinterest & also Instagram now

Canva - I recommend the Pro for all the features for a super low cost

CapCut - Video editing app for Reels and more. I recently changed to this from a paid app and it's great... and FREE. Plus you can have a phone App as well as one for your Mac for more options to add fun stickers and animations to your videos. I've stopped using iMovie now and use this for my longer videos to make them more engaging! Love it!

Metricool - This is great to gather all your marketing metrics from a central source but you can also use it to schedule your content for free too!

Course Builders

Thrivecart - Free if you have an account for your checkout. I find it so easy and simple to use.

Simvoly (included in all-in-one solution) - not as intuitive as other course builders but if you use it for your website and funnels then save your money on other expensive tools. - They are working on a big upgrade for this feature

Membervault - A more affordable platform and has some cool features for gamifying your content.

Kajabi - All-in-one for website, pages, funnels and courses - more expensive. Has email functionality too if you want an all in one.

Checkouts

My website platform (Simvoly) and my course platform (Kajabi) both have checkouts, but I love Thrivecart and as it is a one time fee which I’d already paid, I still use it to keep everything in one place. I love that it can have payment plans easily to one product to save multiple checkouts. Plus it can work out sales tax automatically based on the customer’s country which is a must once you need it!

Repurpose.io - If you want to streamline your repurposing of your content, this tool can do so much for you to automate and help you spread your content to different platforms in different formats.

Vidyo.ai - This cool AI tool will take your long form videos and create a load of clips for you using AI. With chapters and clips, Shorts to use as Reels/TikTok and you can edit the clips to suit, create templates to style the videos. Super easy and time saving!

CastMagic - This is another AI tool I recently came across and was recommended. It's fab. You can upload a video or podcast (great for regular series videos or podcasts) and it will give you a transcript and a load of content pieces from Introductions, Key Takeaways & Bullets, Tweet threads, Discussion Questions and you can even create your own prompts to create for future uploads, plus use it like ChatGPT with specific questions. Your content is all there in the one place!

Airtable - For organisation of all your content in a central hub! Create different views for what you need e.g. seeing the status of content creation, timeline, by channel, in different views! Plus it's free!

Trello - I use this for everything. Action planning, content management, project management for my projects, client portals for done for you services, brain dump of my ideas and more!

Clickup - I recently discovered the power of this tool. I'm currently testing it over Trello for project management and it has a LOT of great stuff to it that Trello couldn't give me. Trello is much simpler and I'd say for newer people. Once you get more established, Clickup is great. I'm barely scratching the surface with it but so far so good

If you are creating a new course or program and want some help in planning out your launch (which can be a LOT) - this is a great resource to help you do that.

Broken down into bite sized steps, with videos, templates for easy visibility and check off the items needed to successfully launch with the stress of knowing what to do and when.

I bought this and found it really helpful and for only $37 - it's a bargain!
