Do you ever feel a little lost with what you should focus on next in your business?
Which tool you should use, what platform to be on?
Do you find yourself buying into multiple business opportunities and courses?
I know I did and could feel like I was being hit in the face with a new "trend" what felt like every bloomin' month!
Don't be too hard on yourself, because just about everyone has at least temporarily been affected too, so you're not alone!
My business felt like it was going round in circles rather than on a nice flat stretch of road towards my goals, until I made this change that I share with you below...
I started looking at what were the successful entrepreneurs I followed doing?
How did they operate?
And they all had something in common...
Besides mindset, STRATEGY is the single biggest factor that determines whether or not people will be successful or fail in their business.
These successful entrepreneurs operated with strategic decisions.
They are strategic in their buying habits with investing time in something that's in line with their strategy vs. just "can I make money with this?"
A lot of people confuse “tactics” with “strategy" - I know I did.
While both are important, you can’t effectively execute tactics and create a thriving business without a viable strategy that outlines how to action those tactics...
...especially as a solo-preneur and online marketer!
It's a constant fighting battle that I see marketers fall into, expecting that one tactic to be the winning one and solve all their problems.
While you can get a winning ad, or find your "home" online, it's important to be grounded and focused.
Don't be doomed to a constant change in direction,
Lack of focus,
Feeling lost and not sure what you should concentrate on next...
... and get your STRATEGY mapped out which will make you truly wealthy and create leveraged income.
LESS is actually more!
So take a deep breath, know that you don't need better tactics, more information, more stuff...
You need a better strategy.
What's the difference between strategy and tactics anyway?
These can change all the time with latest trends and ways of showcasing your business, but it is the STRATEGY that is your overlying objective.
Tactics work FOR your strategy.
You can see from the above that it’s the tactics that are the different platforms and different ways in which you share your message and content with your audience, but it’s the strategy that is the most important part.
The strategy is the foundation of your business.
The underlying things that are going to bring you results no matter where you decide to play online!
Without any strategy, you don’t have a clear message or goal of what you want your audience to do.

How do you know if you’re being strategic vs. tactical?
The answer is..
Strategy is your constant, it’s the most valuable knowledge you can obtain, while tactics change all the time.
There’s always a new platform that’s buzzing right now, a new tool, you see it happen all the time and I have in my couple of years in Marketing.
You need the strategy on the back burner to make your tactics work for you in the long run.
A strategy should be simple and clearly map out the path to success.
It is the Where, What and the How for achieving whatever vision you have.
Without ANY one of these important ingredients, it is an impossibility to approach business strategically and simply put...
There is no possible chance for success.
So let’s break down each component.
Your vision is your WHERE.
It needs to be clearly thought out and IN WRITING.
This is where you aspire to be in business. What do you want to achieve? And why?
What will you do when you have that vision?
How will life be different? How will you feel?
This may change, evolve or expand over time, but right now, it’s crucial to have a clear picture in your mind of your destination before you set out on your journey.
Without a clear vision, without an understanding of the where, it’s impossible to move on to the next step...
So get out a piece of paper, and write out where you want to go.
Goals are specific milestones that you must accomplish to achieve your vision you've just thought of.
The goals are the WHAT.
This is what successfully achieving your vision looks like. Your goals also MUST BE IN WRITING!
It’s called S.M.A.R.T which stands for:
"Many people fail in life, not for lack of ability or brains or even courage, but simply because they have never organised their energies around a goal". Elbert Hubbard
To help you a bit further with your SMART goals if you aren't sure where to start. Here's some help
Now that you can see how to write out your goals, after your Vision on your paper, write out your SMART goal that will help you get to your vision.
Then we move onto step 3...
While goals clearly define what success looks like...
They tend to be broader and lack the “how” for accomplishing them,
Whereas objectives answer the question of "how” very clearly.
Think about your objectives and when you have them done,
You can then create your action plan (which I’ll talk about that next) for that day.
Make a commitment to do this everyday, ensuring you give yourself ample time to dedicate to the action items that will ensure you meet your objectives and move closer to your goal.
So now you have the vision, goals and objectives, that's great... But...
There is NO action, or if there is, it’s sporadic, unfocused, unstrategic and inconsistent action.
In our action plan, this is where we break down very specific tactical steps that are necessary for completing our strategic objectives and achieving our goals.
At the beginning of every week, I want you to review your objectives and then break it down to what needs to be done into specific action items.
With those action items, create your daily action plan.
Now will you make your first attempt at creating an action plan for your business?
When you know what action items you need to do, it makes your business always moving in the right direction.
You'll know that you're doing the right things for your strategy, and getting closer to your goals you've just set out, or are about to.
You'll start seeing results a lot quicker when you have that clear path so you know exactly how you're going to get there.
I've done this recently for my own business, where I've seen such a shift in my productivity, action taking and clarity.
In turn, this has given me more results this month than the last 3 or 4 so I can't recommend doing these steps for yourself as I know it will help you.
